NOTE: Postal applications are only applicable in Belgium  territory, Postal applications are NOT applicable in Luxemburg. The applicants in Luxemburg needs to apply at our centre in Luxemburg.

Submit a visa application

Please note: Applications sent in by post take longer to process than applications submitted at the counter in Belgium. In the case of imminent travel, it is recommended to submit your application at the counter in Brussels. You should add a minimum of 12 working days (excluding delivery delays) to the minimum times mentioned on our processing times pages (as per service requested). The decision to grant the duration of visa is made solely by the Embassy of India.

Warning: All incomplete applications, or applications accompanied by an incorrect or insufficient payment will not be accepted, and will be returned to applicants at their own cost. The service charge will also be collected for such cases.

To submit a visa application in 4 simple steps


Step 1: Fill in your application online, print it and sign it. Attach all relevant documents required to your application form, according to the Tourist visa category, your nationality or origin if relevant.

Step 2: Print application form and fill up the Check list for postal applications

Step 3. Check the Total Payment calculation (Click here)

Step 4: Click here to arrange shipment of your return of passport along with Tourist visa via secured courier. Please fill the way bill clearly in CAPITAL LETTERS with personal mobile number and attach with the application.

Step 5: Drop your application at the local post office addressed as above.

To have your passport sent back to you

Please subscribe, for each passport, to our “Delivery Service” whereby we will make the arrangement to send your passport using a secure courier delivery company as soon as we receive it from the Embassy of India. For security and insurance reasons, it would not be possible for us to return your passport in ordinary post or using pre-paid envelopes.

In case the mode of collection changes (exceptional circumstances only) please note that no refunds will be given and we cannot make any guarantees to satisfy your request.

Please mention your Name, passport number and application number on payment format of online banking to locate your payment fee.

Kindly do not enclose any cash in your postal application envelope. VFS will not be responsible for the loss of cash.

Please note that applications will not be processed until the correct visa fees and service charges are paid

Please note: Payments by cash, personal cheque, company cheques or card are not accepted. If you wish, one payment can be enclosed where your postal package contains multiple applications.
